Terms of Service
Welcome to TechDocsBase (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or subscribing to any of our WordPress maintenance, optimization, or support services, you (“Client” or “User”) agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Scope of Services
TechDocsBase provides subscription-based WordPress care plans (e.g., Silver and Gold plans) and custom technical services. Our services may include proactive monitoring, core/plugin/theme updates, performance optimization, virtual patching, malware remediation, and site backups.
2. Access Credentials & Authorization
To perform our services, you must provide us with valid WordPress administrator credentials, hosting panel access, and/or FTP/SFTP access.
You represent and warrant that you own or have full legal authority to grant us administrative access to the target website(s).
You agree to maintain current offline backups prior to granting initial access to our team.
3. Client Responsibilities
Third-Party Modifications: You acknowledge that unauthorized third-party changes, unapproved plugin installations, or server-level changes made without our knowledge may cause site instability or security vulnerabilities. TechDocsBase is not liable for issues arising from uncoordinated edits made by client team members or third parties.
Licensing: Client remains responsible for keeping valid, paid licenses for proprietary third-party themes or plugins unless explicitly included in your service plan.
4. Payments, Subscriptions, & Renewals
Billing Cycle: Service care plans operate on a recurring subscription basis (monthly or annually). Payments are charged automatically at the start of each billing period.
Overdue Payments: If a payment fails, we reserve the right to suspend support, monitoring, and backup services until the account is brought current.
Custom Projects: Non-recurring custom work or out-of-scope requests will be quoted upfront and charged upon approval.
5. Limitation of Liability
While we employ industry-standard practices, SOC 2 compliance standards, and advanced threat detection:
We do not guarantee that your website will be 100% immune from cyberattacks, server outages, hardware failures, or third-party software bugs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechDocsBase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost revenue, lost data, or business disruption resulting from site downtime or third-party code vulnerabilities.
Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client to TechDocsBase in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
6. Cancellation & Termination
Either party may cancel a monthly maintenance subscription at any time prior to the next billing date. Cancellation will stop future automated renewals.
TechDocsBase reserves the right to terminate service immediately if the client breaches these terms, engages in abusive behavior toward our personnel, or utilizes services for illicit activities.
